Do you like to write short stories, poetry, write fiction/nonfiction stories or do challenges? If so, you would fit right in at WOSIB Lives Literary. The rules and assignments are simple; they are as follows:
- Poetry
- All poems you send in MUST be your own work. You cannot use someone else's work and call it your own. Poetry can be up to 16 lines long.
- Short Stories
- All short stories must be no longer than 750 words. It must be your own work.
- Fiction or Nonfiction Stories
- Fiction/Nonfiction stories can be up to 1000 words; this will be a part of the monthly theme.
Poerty and fiction/nonfiction will have a monthly theme that they must have in their content. The themes will vary from month to month. The Literary Garden will only start out with short stories and poetry for the time being.
As time goes by, we will be adding more items for the garden such as book review etc.
The challenges will be mini-assignments: it can be poetry form (no more than 16 lines) and short story form (no more than 250 words).
