Shawn's Memorial Site
Shawn's Memorial site is a loving remembrance for my beloved son Shawn Daniel Cook that suicided on December 8th 2001 at age 24 as a result of untreated and undiagnosed depression. There are several pages of poetry of comfort, family photos and personal photos taken by Shawn. Many links and information for suicide prevention as well as those left behind to grieve are also listed on the site. It is my intent to prevent the loss of another precious loved one by sharing my painful story and hopefully sparing another mother this heartbreak and lifelong journey of grief.
